The Young Scientists on Renewable Energy, Climate Change and Carbon Neutrality Webinar that will take place on October 20th (19h-22h, China Time // 08h-11h, Brazil Time) is organized by the China Science and Technology Center, Tsinghua University and the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, co-organized by the China Brazil Center for Climate Change and Energy Technology Innovation (China Brazil Center) and the China Latin America Joint Laboratory for Clean Energy and Climate Change.
The Webinar aims to foster a new generation of exceptional young scientists from various academic areas from Brazil and China, committed to integrating scientific knowledge on Climate Change into society for the public welfare.

From October 25th to 29th at the GAUC Global Youth Summit on Net-Zero Future (Climate X Summit), four GAUC universities will be holding events online, followed by more University Determined Contributions (UDC) on November 5th, the youth and public empowerment day at COP26.
The 15 member universities of GAUC will bring to the world around 30 events during the Climate x Summit and in the Blue Zone at COP26.

As part of the activities of the 26th United Nations Conference on Climate Change (COP 26), COPPE will hold a discussion on Building Capacity for Carbon Finance on November 5th, 11:30h (Brazil time) / 15:30h (Scotland time).
The event will be hosted by the vice-director of Coppe/UFRJ and director of the China-Brazil Center for Climate Change and Innovative Technologies for Energy, professor Suzana Kahn; and will feature the participation of the former minister of the environment, Izabella Teixeira, from the Brazilian Center for International Relations (Cebri); the president of the Brazilian Business Council for Sustainable Development (CEBDS), Marina Grossi; and Professor Zhou Jian of Tsinghua University.
